I’m Andrea Peluso, a sound engineer and field recordist based in Udine .

I work with sound as a material — recording, shaping, and designing sonic environments for documentaries, installations, and artistic projects.

My practice moves between technical precision and attentive listening, with a strong focus on natural and spatial audio.

Over the past years, I’ve developed my work across different contexts: from documentary production as a boom operator and sound editor, to environmental recordings for immersive installations and audiovisual works.

Alongside my work in the field, I design and build handmade contact microphones and hydrophones, exploring sound through both craft and experimentation.

I’m particularly interested in the relationship between sound, space, and perception — capturing subtle details and transforming them into immersive listening experiences.

Available for collaborations in film, art, and sound-based projects.
